Intern, Credit and Investment Risk


  • Conduct research on topical issues to support analytical work of the Risk Management Department (RMD) in assessing sovereign and country risk.
  • Assist in monitoring major economic, financial, political, and social developments affecting sovereign and country risk assessments.
  • Other tasks from time to time, as required.

Expected Deliverables

  • Research project submission and presentation on topical issues relevant to assessing, monitoring and managing sovereign and country risk.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Credit and Investment Risk team of RMD.
  • Build good understanding of the credit and investment risk function, and wider understanding of RMD.



  • Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program, preferably specializing in economics, finance and/or international relations.
  • Some work experience or exposure to financial services, economic data and analysis, and understanding of the global economy and international affairs would be advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including experience working with large datasets, is preferred.
  • Team player, proactive attitude, intellectually curious, creative and self-motivated.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
