The AIIB workshop on Institutional Development was held in Beijing on March 5-6, 2015

Secretary General Jin Liqun chaired the AIIB Workshop on Institutional Development held on March 5-6, 2015 in Beijing. Over 100 representatives from 36 countries, and leading multilateral development banks, financial institutions and knowledge organizations in the public and private sectors including the Asian Development Bank, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the International Financial Corporation, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations Development Program, the World Bank, the G24 Secretariat, and Brookings Institutions, JP Morgan, Oliver Wyman attended the meeting. The Workshop participants discussed and shared experiences and views on the policies, practices and implementation experiences of existing MDBs and private sector institutions in procurement, environment and social policies, and governance which will inform the Secretariat's drafting of AIIB policies.
