What is the AIIB Annual Meeting?
  • The Annual Meeting is the flagship event of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). This event showcases AIIB’s accomplishments and provides an opportunity to gather invaluable insights and guidance from shareholders on AIIB's strategic direction and initiatives. It is also a dynamic hub where delegates from AIIB Members can dialogue with partners, business leaders, civil society organizations and experts from a range of fields from all around the world.
  • AIIB Annual Meetings have been held in various AIIB Members, including China, Korea, India, Luxembourg, Egypt and Uzbekistan.
When and where is the 2025 AIIB Annual Meeting?
  • This year's Annual Meeting will take place in Beijing, China, on June 24-26, 2025. The principal venue of the Annual Meeting is at the China National Convention Center Phase 2 (CNCC II), located in the Beijing Olympic Green Area, adjacent to the AIIB Headquarters.

What is the Annual Meeting Public Program?
  • The Public Program of the 2025 Annual Meeting is a series of public engagement seminars that focus on AIIB’s key business objectives and strategic priorities through panel discussions, keynote speeches and presentations. The Host Government is also invited to stage public seminars during the Annual Meeting. The Public Program seminars are open to all Annual Meeting participants.

  • The Marketplace of the 2025 AIIB Annual Meeting is designed to showcase AIIB’s diverse portfolio of projects, operations, policies and products. The sessions are open to all Annual Meeting participants.

  • All Annual Meeting participants must register online.
  • All applicants for registration are subject to accreditation by AIIB.
  • Each email address can only be registered once.
  • The deadline for registration is 6:00 p.m., June 10, 2025 (GMT+8). Onsite registration will not be available.

Do I need to pay to attend the Annual Meeting?
  • Registration for the Annual Meeting is free. However, you will need to bear all costs related to your travel, accommodation, visa and other expenses.
Do I need a visa to enter China / How can I apply?
  • For general information on visa application requirements, please visit the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. Information on visa-free entry to China is available here. For location-specific and more detailed guidelines, we recommend consulting the official website of the Chinese diplomatic mission in your area.
  • If you need to apply for a visa, you can download a registration confirmation letter from the link provided in the Registration Confirmation email once your Annual Meeting registration has been accredited. The letter can be used as a supporting document for your visa application, if applicable.
How can I book a hotel in Beijing?
  • After your registration has been approved, you will be able to book your accommodation for the 2025 Annual Meeting using the hotel link provided in your registration confirmation email.
  • AIIB has negotiated exclusive rates with these hotels. We encourage you to book through this link to benefit from these preferential rates and ensure easier transportation and coordination. Due to high demand, we strongly recommend booking early.
  • Please note that hotel reservations made through this site are not directly managed by AIIB. They are considered independent personal bookings for which you hold full responsibility.
How should I arrange my transport in Beijing?
  • For airport pickup and drop-off, complimentary shuttle buses will be available to transport attendees between airports and partner hotels for all Annual Meeting participants.
  • During the Annual Meeting, there will be regular shuttle services to transport attendees between the partner hotels and the venue. Shuttle schedules will be available at the Annual Meeting Helpdesks in the partner hotels and uploaded on the Annual Meeting mobile web page. More information about the mobile web page is below.
  • Participants staying outside the partner hotels must arrange their own transportation to and from the Annual Meeting venue.
How will catering be organized?
  • Buffet lunches will be available for all Annual Meeting participants in the venue on June 25 and 26 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
  • Tea and coffee will be available in the venue in selected areas on meeting days.
Is the Annual Meeting badge mandatory to enter the Annual Meeting venue? Where do I get my Annual Meeting badge to enter the CNCC II?
  • Annual Meeting badges will be produced based on successful registration and distributed to each participant. All participants must display their badges at all times throughout the Annual Meeting for venue access and security purposes.
  • Badges can be collected from Tower D, Level 1, Asia Financial Center, No. 1 Tianchen East Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
  • Participants may enter through the South Gate or West Gate from June 22 to 26, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Participants may collect their badges by presenting the ID or passport used for registration, along with the confirmation email.

  • The Annual Meeting mobile web page will be launched shortly before the Annual Meeting. All participants are encouraged to use the service, which will contain essential and up-to-date information about the program, speakers and logistical details. The mobile web page can be accessed through a QR code, further information circulated in due course.
Is there an alternative way to attend the Annual Meeting?
  • Throughout June 25 and 26, a number of Public Seminars will be livestreamed on the AIIB YouTube and Weibo channels. We welcome those guests unable to join us in-person to follow the sessions online throughout the day.
