Najeeb Haider is Director General of the Project and Corporate Finance Clients Department, Global (PCF) and is responsible for overseeing origination and execution of nonsovereign-backed financing (NSBF) transactions across the range of AIIB-covered sectors, geographies, client types, and products. He has held various roles within the Bank, including as Director General of the Investment Operations (Region 2) Banking Department; Manager, Investment Operations, Department III; and Principal Strategy Officer. Before joining AIIB in 2016, Haider was Managing Director and Asia Pacific Head for project and infrastructure finance at Citicorp International Ltd., in Hong Kong, China. Prior to his 21 years at Citicorp International Ltd., Haider spent six years in corporate banking roles with JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America. He holds BBA and MBA degrees from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Karachi, Pakistan. Haider is from Hong Kong, China.
