DESCRIPTION

AIIB approved a loan of USD80 million to the Government of Cambodia for the P000682 Integrated Water Resources Management Project. The project aims to increase irrigation water availability in the dry season and reduce the risk of wet season flooding in the Pursat and Sangker River Basins through an integrated water resource management approach.

The project received a grant amount of USD1 million under the Special Fund Window to buy-down the interest by 8.4 basis points from the applicable interest.
