Philippe O’Quin (France)
Mr. Philippe O’Quin has been a member of the Board of Directors since August 2019, having previously served as Alternate Director of the AIIB from July 2018. Mr. O’Quin is a career French senior civil servant, having held a number of senior positions in the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance and in French diplomatic missions overseas. Since October 2017, he has served in the Directorate General of Treasury in the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance, where he managed the relocation of the European Banking Authority. From 1991 to 2017, Mr. O’Quin has held a number of senior positions in French diplomatic missions overseas, including as French Ambassador in Iceland and as Minister-Counsellor for Economic Affairs at the French Embassy in Madrid, Spain, the French Permanent Representation to the European Union and the French Embassy in London.
