Konstantin Limitovskiy is Chief Investment Officer 2. In this role, he oversees AIIB’s investment operations with public sector clients in Northeast and West Asia; Central Asia and the Caucasus; Europe and Middle East & North Africa; and Latin America; as well as project and corporate finance clients focusing on private infrastructure and other productive sectors in all AIIB members. Prior to this position, he served in several managerial roles in AIIB, including as Vice President for Investment Clients Region 2 and Project and Corporate Finance (Global); and Chief Programming Officer and Senior Advisor to the President of AIIB. Before joining AIIB in November 2018, Limitovskiy was Deputy Chairman at the Eurasian Development Bank, leading business activities in infrastructure. Before that, he was responsible for international project finance at the VTB Group in Russia. Yet before, he led and helped develop leveraged and structured finance operations for Gazprombank and Alfa Bank. Prior to that, he led banking activities in infrastructure finance at the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, an international development bank based in Greece. He is a graduate of the Russian Finance University and has an MA in geophysics. Limitovskiy is from Russia.
