Kaisu Christie is Vice President and Chief Administration Officer, overseeing human resources, information technology and facilities and administration services. She also chairs the Strategic Information Technology Committee and the Human Resources Review Committee, ensuring the alignment of AIIB’s internal capabilities with its strategic objectives. Christie brings over two decades of global leadership experience in organizational transformation, digital innovation, and strategic human capital development across multilateral institutions and in the private sector in banking, energy and telecommunications. Prior to joining AIIB, she was Deputy Director General and Group Chief Digital Officer at the European Investment Bank Group, and Senior Vice President of Mortgages, Real Estate and Collateral management at OP Financial Group. In these and prior roles, she has spearheaded enterprise-wide strategic modernization initiatives and championed inclusive workplace cultures. Her career has been defined by a commitment to operational excellence, organizational and talent development, and leveraging technology and data to drive organizations' strategy and operational excellence. Kaisu has also served on boards for private and nonprofit organizations in Europe and Australia. She holds an executive Master’s degree from Aalto University Helsinki, Finland, and a BA in Information Management from Turku UAS, Finland. She is from Finland and Australia.
